Yan Ma receives the DGM-Nachwuchspreis

Dr.-Ing Yan Ma was honored with the DGM Young Talent Award 2022. The DGM Young Talent Award is aimed at doctoral graduates who have graduated no more than 2 years ago at the time of the proposal. After completing his bachelor's degree at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, Mr. Yan Ma successfully completed the master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen from 2013 to 2015. From 2016 to 2019 he worked as a research assistant at the Steel Institute of RWTH Aachen University as part of the Collaborative Research Center SFB761 Steel - ab initio. During this time he wrote a dissertation on Processes, microstructure, and mechanical properties of cold-rolled medium-Mn steel. Mr. Yan Ma is currently leading a working group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Ferrous Research in Düsseldorf. Our hearty congratulations on this success.
