Prof. Dr. Corinna Thomser appointed to Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences

Prof. Dr. Corinna Thomser was appointed to the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in March 2019 for the subject of materials engineering. We congratulate her very much!
After studying materials science at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Ms. Thomser worked from 2004 to 2009 as a research assistant at the Steelinstitute. She received her doctorate with the topic "Modelling of mechanical properties of dual phase steels based on the microstructure" in 2009 at the RWTH.
The PhD year 2009 at the IEHK has initiated many scientific careers. In addition to Mrs. Thomser, she received her doctorate in the same year:
- Mr. Vitoon Uthaisangsuk, now Associate Professor at King Mongkut University of Thonbury in Bangkok, Thailand
- Mrs. Aida Nonn, now Professor of Numerical Mechanics of Materials at the East Bavarian Technical University Regenburg,
- Mr. Ersoy Erisir, now Assocate Professor at the Department of Metallurgy and Materials at Kocaeli University in Turkey,
- Mr. Sakhob Khumkoa, now Assistant Professor at the Suranee University of Technology in Thailand.
