The RWTH Aachen University pursues the vision of permanently guaranteeing excellent teaching that focuses on the students in their diversity and is at the same time integratively research-oriented. In this context, the title “RWTH Lecturer” is a personal honor for academic teaching staff who are distinguished by excellent teaching activities and simultaneous commitment to research. In 2020 the group leader at the steel institute Dr.-Ing. Wenwen Song was awarded this title. A film about the award is now available on the RWTH website:
