Admission of Dr.-Ing Christian Haase to the Young College of the Academy of Sciences
We congratulate our group leader Dr.-Ing. Christian Haase on his admission to the Young College of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts!
This important award is given to scientists of all disciplines for outstanding scientific achievements in higher education institutions or research institutes.
The award includes a stipend to support the young scientist's research projects as well as participation in academy life and the opportunity to exchange ideas in interdisciplinary working groups.
Dr. Haase has already headed the "Integrative Materials Simulation" working group at the IEHK's Chair of Materials Engineering of Metals since 2016. The research activities focus on the microstructure and alloy design of new materials for individualized product development via additive manufacturing processes.
