Guest stay of Alexander von Humboldt fellow Dr. Prakash at IEHK

Dr. Ujjwal Prakash, Associate Professor, from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee got a grant of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Steel Institute from May 2018 to July 2018.
Dr. Prakash has already gained experience abroad at the University of Sheffield, at the Max Planck Institute for Iron and Steel in Düsseldorf and at the IEHK in 2015. He addresses demanding scientific issues in the field of materials engineering, such as Al alloyed lightweight steels for applications in vehicle construction or the development of creep-resistant ODS alloys (oxide dispersion strengthened).
